In modern construction, there is growing focus on circular renovation. This means less demolition, more reuse, and smarter use of materials. In practice, this requires different choices in planning and execution. The SBS6 program “Doe Maar Duurzaam” dropped by to discuss this with Thijs de Kleer, Director of BioPartner Leiden.

Last year, we renovated BioPartner 4 and started a 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦-𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫! This challenging project with KOERS en Popma ter Steege Architecten deserved a video because it was a sustainable & circular project.

In the meantime, our quantum community at BioPartner that started off with QuantaMap, has grown strong now also includes QuantumPlayed, QDNL Leiden and CryoQore.
